Inflation Money
Coins produced as a result of inflation date back to Roman times when obverse minimi, little bigger than a pinhead, circulated as denarii. Nearer the present day inflation has had devastating effects on the coinage and banknotes of Germany (1921-23), Austria (1923), Poland (1923), Hungary (1946), Greece (1946) and many Latin American countries since the 1980s. Hungary holds the record for the highest value of any note ever issued - one thousand million adopengos, equivalent to 20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 pengos.
